Join Closed Testing

You're invited to test Vipra Connect. Follow this guide so everything works smoothly.

✉️ Request to join testing

Enter the Gmail ID that you use for Google Play Store. After submitting, you'll be sent to WhatsApp to send your request to the team.

Your Gmail will be included in a pre-typed message to the testing team. Send the message in WhatsApp to complete your request.

Get the test app

Use the link you received, or tap below to open the Play Store. If you're added as a tester, you'll see the option to install.

📋 Before you start

An Android phone (the test app is on Google Play).
A working mobile number.
Internet (Wi‑Fi or mobile data).
You must be added as a tester by the team. If you didn't get an invite link, ask the person who invited you to add your Google account email to the testers list.

📲 Step 1: Install the app

Open the invite link you received (email or message) on your Android device, or tap "Open Google Play" above.
If you're a tester, you'll see "You're a tester" or "Install" on the Play Store page.
Tap Install and wait for the app to download.
Open Vipra Connect from your app drawer.

📱 Step 2: Create your account

On the welcome screen, tap Create account (or the option to sign up).
Enter your 10‑digit mobile number (without country code).
Choose a password: at least 6 characters, one lowercase letter, and one special character (e.g. ! @ #).
Confirm the password and proceed.

👤 Step 3: Complete your profile

Add a profile photo (optional but recommended).
Fill in Name, Village/City, and any other required fields.
Select Gender and add Bio if you like.
Read and accept the Data Privacy / terms if shown.
Tap Submit or Finish.

Note: After signup, your profile goes to an admin for approval. You'll see a "Pending approval" screen until they approve you. This is normal for closed testing.

✅ After you're approved

Once an admin approves your profile, you can use the full app: browse the directory, see latest updates, add contacts, read the blog, and get notifications. Use the menu (☰) to open your profile, settings, and other pages.

❓ Common issues & fixes

I don't see "Install" on Play Store

Make sure you're signed in to the same Google account that was added as a tester. If you use the invite link from email, open it on your Android phone. If it still doesn't work, ask the person who invited you to confirm your email is in the testers list.

Password not accepted

Use at least 6 characters, include one lowercase letter (a–z) and one special character (e.g. ! @ # $ %). No need for a capital letter or number.

I'm stuck on "Pending approval"

This is expected. An admin must approve your profile. They may take a few hours or a day. If it's been longer, contact the person who invited you or the community admin.

App crashes or something looks wrong

You're helping us find bugs. Please note what you did (e.g. "Opened profile, tapped Edit") and report it via the app (menu → Report an issue) or to the person who invited you. Your feedback is valuable.
